This video is SO cool, I had to share it!
Discovery Networks posted this video. They have set up video "traps" to try and capture images of these rare cats in Sumatra. These tigers are very endangered - there are probably only about 400 in the wild. This footage is the first they have received from these camera traps. These cats are a mother and her cubs. They find the camera trap and investigate (some very cute close-ups ensue.)
These big cats are being poached for the black market, so they are in critical danger of dying off. It is so great to see the work being done to help them keep from this fate!
Check out the size of the paws on the cubs! It's amazing. What beautiful animals these are! World by the Tail actually has a ClayPaws® print in the office of a tiger. It's about 3 times the size of a "normal" dog print!
